I'm guessing that the logic behind it is that it was designed this way with controllers in mind? (start/options to pull up the map then the attack button to options/menu from there?
Note to devs in general (not just devs of this game): when porting a game to PC, please keep in mind that even if the game is best played with controllers, many will still at least try to play it with mouse/keyboard... Please either make quitting the game more intuitive (for example, shortcut esc to options where quit is listed) or actually make it obvious by giving instructions on how to quit at the start of the tutorial. In this case, I had too much trouble beating the first tutorial boss/miniboss with the awkward keyboard controls and had to quit to try setting up a controller later. This thread was pretty burried and I was just about to use the task manager or alt+F4 to kill the game.
Yeah but what if you want to change your skin mid-play for the swag?
