Among other things this thing is a resource hog, your RAM usage spikes through the roof, loading screens can take well up 5 minutes.
And then there's the 30GB texture pack upgrade.
I enjoyed it, beat the game with all characters and it was really fun to mindlessly chop down everything in sight.
It's surprisingly polished with a good spectacle level. It's on the shorter side at about 11 14-ish hours to finish the first (and I'm assuming largest) campaign. What I really liked about this game though is that its leveling and loot systems provide that ARPG progression while simultaneously allowing basically free movement between builds and gameplay. The combat is also very engaging for any ARPG.
Maybe it was that launch price but at the reduced price and any sale, honestly this is a great game.
Like, take that most recent upvoted negative review. That guy spent more time on his formatting than getting the message of this game across. Which is this.. while not a AAA title, it's surprisingly polished and flashy with a good spectacle feel, that also preserves and showcases the character and lore of Warhammer Fantasy very nicely. Its trick of allowing free movement between builds within a successful framework of ARPG progression is alone enough to recommend the title to ARPG fans, with the good gameplay making it enough to recommend to anyone else.
If you want more get the act 5 dlc!
Edit after reading some of the other comments: I haven't found a single bug yet, and it's a bit of a Ram hog, but not *that* bad.
I encountered absolutely no bug, a mission loads in about 4 seconds with 4k texture, maybe 1.5 seconds in 1080p, using a regular ssd. My ram usage is 6gb out ouf 32gb and task manager says 1.7gb for the game so i don't understand the claims about ram usage. 2080ti usage is about 50% in 4k ultra.
I agree the game gets easier as you progress but i prefer this to enemy scaling like in borderlands, now i just skip the mobs, just kill enough to replenish my blood thirst gauge, and rush to the bosses, else the game would be tedious.
