How do i beat bloodthirster as Vollen

Got any tips for the bloodthirster? I cant even get past phase one as Vollen. How am I meant to beat an embodiment of a warrior god in melee?!?!
His jump attack I cant dodge, I can't do any damage as he more or less one shots me (I'm playing on very hard)

Yeah, me and 2 buds just fought him and can't figure out to deal with the jump attack. As the scout he straight up one shots you.

you simply walk/run back to the door wheree you came from, there it doesnt hit you at the door. :)

in phase 1 you need to kill only those urns or whatever they are caled at the edge of the room, there are like 6 or 8 of them, after you killed those, you can kil the boss and as i said when he jumps run back to the door and it wont hit you at all.

experiment with your chosen skills.
there's a flag you can plant which reduces incoming damage. there are melee attacks which block and absorb damage. i managed as Vollen but took me a few tries before i nailed him.

I had to free up points to take the health potion cool down reduction rank 2. His jump attack doesn't hit you if you stand in the door. Spam health pots and basically chip him down.
