Another translation game 'Homicipher'

It is a mixture of horror, otome and deciphering game.
Two main differences to Heaven's Vault (aside from story and setting) are:

- It wont do anything to correct false translations for you, you are on your own there.

- The language structure is not based on English grammar

Though if you need to avoid jump scares and flashing lights, this game isn't for you.

Anyway the prologue can be played for free.

Thank you for this recommendation. I just played it several times. I have no interest in the horror story, but the language deduction has exactly the correct amount of ambiguity. What a shame that it seems to have been abandoned so we will never get the full game.

I still have some hope that it is not completely abandoned :/
The game is just too much fun. And as you said the translations are just the right difficulty.
