As for the walking speed, El supposedly has asthma or some sort of major lung problem...and she tends to go exploring places without a lot of vegetation or breathable air left.
I'd like to have an inventory of artifacts and what conclusions or relationships they have to a site. The timeline is one view, but it's not the same thing as showing the player the list of artifacts related to a particular site/moon/whatever.
I was interested at the point she asked Six if he could sail the ship and he answered affirmatively, thinking, great now maybe I'll have some autopilot, but then it was not that.
Also it would be very very important in my opinion to update the dialog to have some color code, or the name of the person talking, it's all white so when at some point you are more than 2 on the sip, it can be difficult to follow the dialog., it's not that much an issue when exploring as there is the line to the character. But while flying, it's really not good to have no distinction.
Also when setting a route, I would like to have two options: "Shortest route" and an option that weighs unknown rivers higher than known rivers.
I think (the option of) faster walking and fast travel for the ship would improve the game quite a lot (and I think the game is great.)
We think so too, and are working on something very much like this. More soon.
it is mere annoyance for 1st playtrough, but for new game+ at the very least, some way to skip some of the padding would be great. and to be honest, most people who plan to play the game a second time is just to finish / see the translation they couldn't figure the first time trough and maybe pick other choices. exploring the nebula was cool, but ultimately it isn't really the meat of the game.
but yeah, it's cool the people at inkle are listening
