How to be kind to Six?

So, I'm trying to be nice to Six because I (the player) really like them, but Aliya apparently does *not*, which isn't helped along by the Question/Remark dialogue system, which makes it hard to anticipate the tone Aliya is about to take.

For example, we just landed on Renaki and Six was fussing about how unlikely it is we'll ever find Amadu, and I decided to tease them a bit, asking if they ever get tired of being so optimistic.

Six makes a little speech about how robots are neither optimistic nor pessimistic, they are *statistically significant*, and I see the Remark prompt.

So I go for it, and Aliya says "No robot is significant. They never have been and never will be." Which is... *so* very much not how I was trying to treat Six.

Is there any way to predict which of Aliya's responses are going to be like *that*, so I can avoid them? I felt really bad, that was a *horrible* thing to say.

Especially since I was about to pretend to sell Six to Amadu, which is already a pretty cruel thing to do even if I know full well that as I'm not the primary user I couldn't sell the robot if I wanted; treating them that poorly on top of it all...

Aliya hates robots. Unfortunately, you can't really control fully how the responses come out. Usually it's clear when a response is going to be particularly sharp or snarky, but the Q/R prompts often don't have nearly enough detail for you to tell.

You'll just have to pretend that the best she can do is tolerate this one.

Keep in mind she's had five robots before, and at least a few of them have made things significantly more inconvenient for her.

Note that many of the negative conversations with Six are related to Elboreth.

Six even asks you never to return to Elboreth after your first visit, so not going there at all would probably be as kind as is possible to Six.

I am having the same issue as yourself! I adore Six, and have ended up restarting a couple times because I feel terrible for somethings I have said to Six. I am seeing better options from trial and error however.

When prompted, ask questions. Aliya's questions seem to be polite or neutral, her remarks are usually rude.
