The aquifer moon is the entrance to the endgame, unless you actually trigger the endgame events you should be able to leave it once and go back to the main portion of the Nebula, but if you visit a second time, you are locked in. Aliya's whole goal is to find the Vault; deciding to go back to wondering aimlessly around the Nebula once you have found the road to the Vault just doesn't make any sense.
There is a moon with movable paths, once you make it all the way to the farthest point on them, don't turn back until you have explored everything over there, you will not be able to get back. Really, just explore each section you reach fully before moving on, it is easy to lock yourself out of areas.
There is a library where things will collapse and you will be forced off the moon as a result.
On the "That's no moon" moon, you can get "trapped" in a building, you aren't really trapped, you don't need to vault out.
Plenty of places will have bits break/fall and depending on your past choices that particular path may be closed, but I can't think of any of those minor ones that cut you off from things; there is always another route.
After some poking around, i eventually managed to get out of there by covering the thing with my hand and flooding the hatch, it was awkward though
Huh? No it isn't. Not yet at least. At the current point in the story for me, aliya is supposed to be finding an observatory. there's no clue yet that the vault even exists.
It seemed especially jarring that my robot was sure this statue is the way to the vault with no evidence to indicate that, and refused to let me leave the planet on that basis
Do you mean the mine with the acid fog at the bottom of a ladder? Or is there another place where there are movable paths
These two don't sound like anywhere i've been yet, i'll keep an eye out for these, thank you ! <3
The tent you didn't go in, but it isn't really a movable path the same way the mine is.
Really the only force outs that I've run into is the Dig site and a moon you haven't been to yet. Once you go down in the mine, there is a spot that can force you out. However, for the most part, seen everything before being forced out if you've picked around/in buildings before climbing down there. 1st play through I left the Mines via robot. 2nd time... another way (and wasn't dead). So that was really fun to discover.
The observatory and the vault are one in the same; you can hear about either one first, and usually, when you learn about the second, Aliya will assume it is just another name for this mythical location you are already searching for. It is questionable if this is really the case (there are a few moons that could be "The Observatory" on their own) but ultimately Aliya is looking to learn about history, and at the moment is specifically focused on this concept of darkness, knowledge of both are sure to be located at the vault/endgame location.
The reason Six talks about knowing where the aquifer moon will take you is that the hopper is pointing out away from the Nebula that you know, and usually by the time you reach it, you should have some vague search area for it covering a huge chunk of the map to the north west.
Yes.
