How do you read the calibration results?
Hopefully this makes sense, because I'm finding it a bit tricky to explain:

I'm finding that I'm struggling on certain levels and decided to mess with the calibration to see if that was the issue. I understand that the first panel changes when the lights flash in relation to the sound that plays, but when you actually test the setting, what does the final averaged number mean? If it's a positive number, should I move the calbration further to the left or right?

Pretty late answer, but in case you were still wondering, the calibration results work like this. If your test inputs result in you always pressing a bit late, the game corrects the internal timings to be later by whatever amount the test displays (to account for input lag from your device and screen) the opposite is true for early inputs, the internal timing gets moved forward. The game adjusts the values automatically, so there's no need to change the calibration manually unless you still think it feels a bit off.
