How hard can this game get?

Hello everyone! I'm really curious about the difficulty of this game because the videos I've watched aren't very clear about what should I expect in terms of difficulty.

Since rhythm games generally can get hard, I bet this is the case here, but I'd better ask because I really wouldn't like to get a game on the easy side.

The main game right now is fairly easy, there are some fairly challenging levels but nothing too difficult. The real source of difficulty if you want would come from custom levels - here's a selection of a few to showcase what different difficulties look like. Rhythm Doctor difficulty comes from polyrhythms and is very different to other rhythm games like the 4k and co. variety.

Thanks for your answer! I'll admit that by watching the videos I still can't understand why it's hard simply because I don't get how the game works lol. But your explanation made things clear, so I'll get the game and give it a go

It's a very unique experience and well worth the money but if you're still on edge you can just try it out for a while and refund it if it's not your cup of tea at all.

1-XN. Also there's a lot of custom levels that are difficult or basically impossible. I have a level where Cole has like 30 beats per second.
