I can't downgrade my drivers for personal reasons, so I think I'll just sit the game out until that's fixed. Great game otherwise, though.
- Do you have one monitor or two?
- If you use the 'one screen' mode in Settings>Accessibility, does it work?
- And what if you change your Windows display to one monitor only, then restart the game and try it? (i know this is asking a lot though, no problem if you'd rather not)
- If none of it works, fwiw you should be able to just disable window movement completely and get past that level, by using the setting to disable window movement in Accessibility. I know it's a shame though and we'd definitely love to get it working for you.
Speaking of which, I know that back in the last short beta demo window you guys opened up, the level worked fine, is the lag caused by some new drivers released since then, or is the game coded differently in a way that's tripping on Nvidia like this?
I know at least on my end I haven't had any hardware changes since then.
and yeah it would be really useful to check if the old demo is still smooth for you. I can send you a download link for the steam demo version if you send me an email / any other way to give you a special demo key in private. My email is fizzd@7thbe.at
Thanks for any time you can give!
I think the best way to send the link would be through a Steam message, rather than an email.
EDIT: Just made a couple more attempts at the song in a row to see if there's a pattern or anything, but I'm not really seeing any pattern, other than it happening pretty soon-ish after the window starts moving, rather than later in the song. Also seems like the framerate for the window moving isn't nearly as smooth as it was in the old demo, either.
EDIT2: Changed my Nvidia driver to the studio version (I, uh, wasn't supposed to be using the gaming driver in the first place, I do a lot of 3D modeling on this computer) and the game locked up (still with audio) about five seconds after the level started teleporting to the corners of the screen.
Because it looks interesting
Edit: I moved the game to an SSD and seems to run without those lag spikes for now, will update if I see any new lag spikes.
It's not moving at all
I haven't been played since like 1 or 2 weeks ago, before that it worked well
so I'm not sure if it is related to the recent patches.
btw I'm only using 1 monitor.
English Voice doesn't work in my MacBook... There is only Chinese voice
