well disney and THQ i am not so sure about that.
(Or like the fallout 4 mod that added content from fallout 3 until at release one of the Copyright holder for some texts/audio stopped it. Thousands of hours for a mod that never could be released)

Anyway, if someone is willed to do this, nice.

There is nothing wrong with using an IP for a non monetised mod. It only becomes a problem if you are using ripped assets from official star wars games. The problem is in having a large and committed enough modding team to produce all the assets required.

i have a group of friends willing to publish such mods and we have talked at length on this
all i can say is 1 bring on the mod tools
2 this may or may not be coming to a private modding discord as soon as we can getourgrubby hands on the mod tools.
(i only do artwork and 3d tings so cant coment how long the actual brainy ones of us will need but rest assured this game will not go overlooked =D

I mean,yea it would be cool,but don't expect it in at least 2-4 years,most of the weapons use plasma so are instant hit,so that would be a problem,additionaly you cannot really use force powers in this game.

This game is NOT Warband There is NOTHING to suggest what works in that will work here...
