Playing the beginning version?

So the when the game starts up it gives the option to play the beginning version, which i really liked, but whenever i try it denies access. Is this no longer available or is there something i have to download to access it?

I think you have to go to the betas section for the game in the Steam options and select the beta.

Yes, version which you select from the beginning should match version from properties window

@toadstoned I missed the build but they also took out alot of what made it nice. the maps are much nicer in the old one, for example its not constant valleys and rocks. high ground and troop movment actually mean something
