Building on Uneven Terrain
I have just purchased this game and I have found that I am unable to build most things on uneven terrain, even mildly uneven terrain. This makes the game difficult to play and is unrealistic, given that most buildings in real life are not built on flat ground. Could consideration be given to enabling building on uneven terrain. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the game so far.

ITS Almost always been used in past city building games to prevent building and make it harder, they've used things like rocks, boulders etc. to block building.

IRL, it would require manual digging and filling/compacting to level a building site. Maybe even building retaining walls if the grade is steep enough. If that functionality could be simulated in game, that would be great. But I wonder how difficult that would be to implement?

This is really one of the few drawbacks about this game. There are far too many sections of land (across most maps) that have uneven terrain in what, at first, seems to be a prime location to build upon.

I like the idea of adding retaining walls for buildings built on steeper slopes. I would even be okay with it adding additional cost the construction if a retaining wall would be required.

WAY too much Uneven Terrain. And the only flat map options have virtually no limestone/stone or iron (and can't buy enough of it from other cities) :/

Started new game on Map 1 - can't build a trading dock anywhere near my town... uneven terrain (even if it's straight) everywhere. Annoying.
