If both have non-zero, the game doesn't know which one is supplier since both are set to collect fishing nets.
This might no longer work as intended.
I've used this method for a while, but I noticed when playing several days ago that the fishing docks set to produce nets kept running out of them, they didn't use the ones they produced, and no one collected new ones from storage. I temporarily set them to receive nets, and they collected and used them.
I thought it was related to that I kept running out of threads or something (I now have 4 weaver's huts set to produce threads!
When I played again now, I noticed the same thing. The net producers got 'no fishing nets' message, and didn't use their own nets or collected new ones, so I had to temporarily set them to receive them, and they collected them.
So something might have happened to this mechanic in one of the hotfixes, not the most recent ones, but maybe from a week or so ago or earlier?
Do you have the threads to make nets? Is the inventory of the fishing hut full?
We are in winter now and they are salting the dried fish and making spare nets, so very happy about that :)
I've never adjusted the settings in either dock.
Build a second dock, DO NOT order boats. Fill it with threads add one worker to produce nets. Transfer nets to warehouse.
