Iron mining map

I wouldn't mind a map that was mostly flat that had multiple river channels in it with an iron ore deposit. :)
That way, I could maximize it.
The only iron map is mostly hilly which won't work well with most buildings.
Plus the smelter blocks river access which can create problems.

Map 2 is the one with lots of iron, it is indeed hilly but not that bad.
Clear the forest as you go for more flat land, farm fields can be built on slopes.
Trade ships enter from the right so build your water trade building before your smelter.
I am playing this map at the moment and it is quite a good map, lots of lime and stones too.
need 2 or 3 foresters to clear trees a little quicker, I have 3 farms with fields built mainly on slopes.
