How many workers do you use in chicken coop and trade post?
Why is there 3 worker slots at the chicken coop when only one is required for full production? (according to a animal husbandry guide I read)
The trading post has 4 worker slots when the wagons can only be unloaded by 1 worker at a time? I have used 2 to cover for when one has a rest but does anyone ever use 4?

Well, I haven't done any checks of chicken coops in Alpha 4, but I haven't noticed anything different from Alpha 3, when only one worker is needed. Having 2 or 3 workers would allow you to collect chicken feed or water more quickly, but this ought not be a problem. It doesn't make the hens lay any more eggs.

I used to often have 3 workers in a trading post, to make sure that wagons didn't get missed, but wagons now wait longer than they used to, and these days I only have one. I might miss some wagons, but if I'm not in desperate need of goods or money, then missing the odd wagon does not really matter. A worker will never go home when they are part-way through loading or unloading a wagon.

I generally turn on all resource supply options in all buildings, except where it makes no sense bringing goods by cart or wagon, such as market stalls and cowsheds, where I just have the two "by hands" options checked.

I tend to max out just to give people jobs, but Trim seems to know the secrets to maximize thngs ;)

I do this as well as eventually I've got a high population so I just fill every spot and sometimes just build more construction buildings to hire more of my population.

I was under the impression that the chicken coops didn't need any workers (I stopped using chicken coops a version or so ago), or was that many versions ago as the laborers would fill the coops with resources, no?

Labourers bring food, and the chickens can feed themselves, just like all animals can. but if you don't have any workers, you won't collect any eggs, nor will any of the chickens be killed for meat. You won't get new chicks either, which is rather less explicable.

I could not produce hatchlings unless I had a worker.

I usually have 1, Sometimes 2 Workers in the Chicken Coop.
Dont know If more Workers so anything good....

In the Trading Post i got 3 People on it.
Its not only because of the loading of the Wagons, also you need People to gather the Stoff to your Trading Post.
So while 1 is loading the Waggons, another 2 fill Up the Trading Post.
Also Sometimes you need to bringt more ressources for Profit.
For example you have 7000 Charcoal in the Post, but need 9000 for max Profit your Workers can fill it up fast

2 workers for fully operational building. this way one worker gathers eggs, butchers older chicken and 2d worker goes for water and grains.

I also agree with other comments about simply providing extra jobs. A problem I always find in ostriv is high unemployment for women. Filling out the chicken coop is an easy way to provide jobs for them aswell as guarantee you get enough food and water for the chickens .
