I used to often have 3 workers in a trading post, to make sure that wagons didn't get missed, but wagons now wait longer than they used to, and these days I only have one. I might miss some wagons, but if I'm not in desperate need of goods or money, then missing the odd wagon does not really matter. A worker will never go home when they are part-way through loading or unloading a wagon.
I generally turn on all resource supply options in all buildings, except where it makes no sense bringing goods by cart or wagon, such as market stalls and cowsheds, where I just have the two "by hands" options checked.
I was under the impression that the chicken coops didn't need any workers (I stopped using chicken coops a version or so ago), or was that many versions ago as the laborers would fill the coops with resources, no?
Dont know If more Workers so anything good....
In the Trading Post i got 3 People on it.
Its not only because of the loading of the Wagons, also you need People to gather the Stoff to your Trading Post.
So while 1 is loading the Waggons, another 2 fill Up the Trading Post.
Also Sometimes you need to bringt more ressources for Profit.
For example you have 7000 Charcoal in the Post, but need 9000 for max Profit your Workers can fill it up fast
