HELP! Slow Construction
Help! Why does it take so long for construction to be completed on my buildings. The forestry alone takes at least 6 months so forget about getting any houses built before winter. Tutorials show the building done in a month. Any suggestions??

Nope... forestry only takes less than 1 month.

How far away from the camp are you putting the forestry?... If your people are walking miles to build then it will take forever especially if your carts wear out in the meantime.

I also add 2 more builders for the forestry then take 3 off building and add 4 to the forestry in the beginning.

I can get forestry, thatch, farm and at least 7-8 houses built before winter.

I kept everything close together for that reason. I also have it on max speed and they're barely moving. I even maxed out the construction workers and still the same results.

Could be a performance issue. What's your computer specs?

1) Place original "circle of tents" near trees.
2) Place forestry as close to "circle of tents" and trees as possible.
3) Add additional construction workers to fill working positions to "max".
4) Crank game speed to "max".
- After following these steps , its taking 6 months for them to build the forestry?

I changed the CPU affinity to 0 as one suggestion I found and the building of the forestry now only takes 3 months...

I never play Ostriv on Max speed. Everytime I've tried my pc doesn't like is.

In the very top menu on steam and in the HELP tab you will find 'System Information' if you copy that and email it to Yev he might be able to help you... 3 months is still too long. You don't supply enough info here.
