I recently started a new game, but might try this.
Have you played it yourself?
No export of warm clothes and several other items I usually export... No possibility to make broadcloth, so have to import warm clothes anyway.
No fish. Farms and gardens only on a very little area...
Sounds fun!

You post a custom map for people to play then tell them not to play it seems odd.
You can only place the camp on a certain side? Which side is that?
You're welcome, and thanks so much for your maps!
I love this game and wish it longevity, and new and challenging maps are definitely contributing to that.
Right now I'm planning to try the game with the new hotfix, but I have my mind set on trying this map now, after rolling it around in my head while playing other games!
And after looking at Claybot's picture above, I'm really looking forward to it
You can't have a patch of land in the middle of the map surrounded by water without a connection to a certain point on the edge of the map, which is defined in the games files, because that area will be considered "Inaccesible". It varies from map to map
I don't mind critique and explaining what I know so far at all. I'm still finding out the possibilities and limitations with current method of editing the maps. Let's treat those as exercises for now.
Most helpful would be balancing related informations just like Bjorn posted earlier!
Yep thats me looking for clarity.
Well that's a bit clearer. I'm still missing something but once I see other peoples maps I probably figure it out.
Not sure why anyone would want to built outside the Oasis part with the lack of drinkable water.
