Potash?

Potash, is that a special dye of some kind for clothing? Just curious what Potash is used in the game. Thanks for any reply.

It's derived from the name of the chemical element (metal) Potassium, but also called 'pot-ash' from how it was extracted before. Used to make glass in the game.

I had a look at the Wikipedia page for it:

"For a long time the only significant applications for potash were the production of glass, bleach, soap and gunpowder as potassium nitrate.[37] Potassium soaps from animal fats and vegetable oils were especially prized because they tend to be more water-soluble and of softer texture, and are therefore known as soft soaps.[13]"

I didn't know much about it before either. It's called 'Kalium' in Norwegian, and I only know that from the periodic table from chemistry in school...

It's used in glass making, and lye is used to make soap.
