Right, I was doing that. Used to you would see a blue dotted line and it would disappear once you released it. I'm not getting that blue dotted line. I've had the plough pressed and ready, along with oxen. But it doesn't do anything. I did this over and over for 30 minutes. Nothing worked. That's why I posted this. It's not making any sense.
Thought maybe it was done differently. It's probably been a year and half since I played. Looks like the game has really evolved and looking good!
When you order a plough at your farm (click one of the three big "+" symbols), the carpenter will fetch the oxen from your cowshed and bring them to the carpentry. When the plough is finished, he will bring the plough to your farm.
Don't forget to enable supply for oxen and make sure, that there is hay and water stored in your farm before the plough arrives.
For plows, the oxen should not be dragged and dropped, like you describe. Just turn bulls into oxen and leave them in the cowsheds, like kiska87 describes. Should not be dragged like prolych describes
When ordering a plow in the farm, the carpenter will automatically collect the oxen from the cowsheds (if the oxen are at least 1 year old), create the plow, and take it to the farm.
I equipped 3 farms with plows only yesterday (usually I've had no plows), so it's fresh in memory.
Dragging animals is for salt works, wagon sheds and when moving animals from one animal farm to another and such, but not plows.
Does this mean that no one is working in the carpentry, even though you're having unemployed people? Only men can work there.
Is there anything in the building queue at your carpentry, that is preventing your carpenters from fixing the carts?
