Manor Lords... almost identical but with WAY better graphics... I feel sorry for ostriv because I liked it a lot, but his progress was very slow, the Manor Lords demo is incredible.

Lords and Villeins has a similar feel to the economy. The citizens will actually sell to each other and you have to manage taxing them as well.

I agree, it's a great game, but there is no possibility of saving in Demo or I didn't find it. And in Demo there is no possibility of conquering neighboring territories. And is there information when the release? The game can already be released at least in EA.

Its also a single dev so dont expect fast updates there either.

Absolutely hate war games. Dawn of man can be played without raiders. Same with the colonists. Thing about Ostriv is it's peace full. No one to fight. Big plus for me. Now I do play war games like call of duty etc. But they are meant to be war games. City building games don't work for me if they are part war games. But that's me. YMMV.

There is some really weird systems in this game.
The most bothersome to me was the research system. You constantly need to add libraries, or your research over time will fade away and you can lose a technology. The more research you do, the more libraries you need until 1/3 of your town is covered in them.

no honestly, I read about it, but I like it. it may be a bit quick, but other than that it's also pretty realistic. knowledge needs to be maintained.

Due to its existence and its continuous development for 9 years, the game is virtually mature and bug+error-free, not boring at all with always alternating scenes with new contents, concepts and dynamism.
For the same reason, almost perfect harmony of values, outstanding game/play balancing.

and above all:

very excellent immersive gameplay experience... I was amazed, wild horses couldn't drag me away.

Hello everyone,
Although not as often as before, it's a pleasure to come to the Ostriv forums from time to time and check out the latest developments and update notes.!
I would like to express my best wishes to the developers and players, from here.

My intent to write here now,
is to underline the latest developments about Anno 1800, which I still can't get it old
and
to give a brief update for valuable players, who want to take a break from playing Ostriv for a while.

In Anno 1800, just like Ostriv, you start the game by cutting trees and by fishing. It is a game played on large and small islands... As it is known : Ostriv does mean "island".

The game has completed a full set of 4 season passes in its fourth year, it is cross-played on 4 different continents/ worlds. It also has 4 big scenarios with different ecosystems. There are also many functional and decorative DLCs available.

The game, which has undergone major updates for 17 times, is virtually free from any bugs and glitches.
... for the enthusiast.!
