Builders not bilding both way.
Have any of you managed to fix the problem apart from starting a new game?
Sometimes building can take a long time if something slow to make (like nails) runs out and I have a single blacksmith trying to meet the demand.
You must have enough laborers and builders if it was working fine before. All I can think of is that the resource could be reserved because someone is trying to move it, but they're not able to reach it for some reason? That has to be a bug, but I've only noticed something like this when laborers are taking a long time to get around to each building and take resources. Then a bunch of them go to rest... but I've noticed maybe a couple minutes where nothing was being done, eventually they get back to work.
Do you have enough carts for your builders?
The carts wear out after a while and if they have the hammer symbol, they are unusable.
As for clay, the builders only transport it by cart. I'm not sure if it counts for every construction material. So it might be the case, that you have enough thatch, but no carts to transport it to the construction side(?)
all materials were supplied and builders and carts were available but nothing.
So the builder stayed at the construction site with the empty cart and did nothing?
What did it say what he's doing when you select him?
Did a white line appear?
If you can reproduce it, i suggest to make a save game right before the builder brings the last resources to the construction site and then another save when he is stuck and then send these save games including the log.txt file (after he is stuck) to the dev by email.
Maybe the dev then can find out what's happening between "bring resources to construction side" and "refuse to move" and what's causing this issue.
As I said in the OP when I clicked an occupied house and clicked to rehome the tenants to the unfinished house the builders started on that home and finished it and then build the farm.
Is the game working as expected now? If you did not notice, the Developer linked a sticky post on how to report issues.
.
Suggest start with OP issue & send Dev. the requested info.
