Coronides is impossible
How the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to get off the last asteroid. On the one crater I have a chance in hell of hitting there's not enough downhill for me to reliably catch it and not hit the flat ground and lose all momentum. I looked up a walkthrough and they "beat" the level by skipping all of it from the starting asteroid.

I just cost 2 minutes to pass this level when I first met this level. One key to passing it is to hold LMB to gain energy then glide with tremendous speed to get rid of the gravity of the former asteriod and be absorbed by gravity of another one.

Though not the intended way, I just glided from the start to finish. I eventually got there, didn't look like anything was happening but I inched towards the final asteroid before landing on it. When its in view just keep rotating the camera so its in a 12 o clock position.

Thanks for this report, a fair few people are struggling :( I'm thinking of adding the geysers from the first asteroid to all of them in case you get stuck - possibly making that last rock hilly also.

I had a hard time figuring out what to do as well, but htp34r is correct.....you need to gain enough speed to blast into space to defeat the gravity of the asteroid and then you can get to the next one. On the first asteroid, look around and you will see some geysers....hit one of those and it will give you a big push up...then use that altitude to dive down and that should give you enough velocity to break away from the gravity to the next asteroid.....I did struggle a bit too..but once you figure it out, it's a blast.

I had no issue with the other asteroids so I think it's just the last one that's the problem.

Yes, geysers on the other asteroids would make it easier. :)

I didnt have any issues (literally none, didnt realise others found it hard), but I think adding extra geysers, and some nice scoops to zoom through cant hurt. This game isnt better by being tougher, its better by being more chill and awesome.

Yeah that part was very frustrating for me too. Took me over an hour to beat it.:hmspaceship:

I loved that level. The feel for the gravity assist is awesome. Especially when your whizzing past the last few before the end. Any hope for a free play/level select option?

I enjoyed the level right up until the last asteroid. I knew what I needed to accomplish by that point but everything i tried just failed.

Then I come to the discussions to see if there's a trick to it I'm missing and I discover the trick is to avoid the challenge altogether. :/

One trick that I find works so far is to try to fall past the asteroid, in other words try getting into an orbit and speeding up that orbit.

The camera really needs some adjusting as the swivelling around is disorienting.

In fact, with that method, I didn't even touch the last asteroid, I used the second to last one to slingshot myself past that and to the monolitth.

I didn't touch any asteroid but the first one. On the first asteroid you can get alot of speed in the center of it and then just blast off and glide to the finish.

I climbed to the top of the first asteroid, jumped into the disk and got enough speed I just shot myself all the way to the final asteroid. I noticed the other asteroids as I flew past, but they did not seem to be needed.

I was doing fine after getting off the first ...peanut moon. I used the next astroid to get speed to boost off again no problem. But then saw one more before the final destination and decided to check it out. That was a mistake. Seems like there is no way to get off of it. There is only one crater which seems too small to help. Is it a trap that requires level restart?
