Anyone else stressed out on the water level?
I have a phobia of deep water, so that level really messed with my head. Also, I'm not sure if I just wasn't very good at moving around at that point, but the level seemed to last forever.

You can keep your craft above the water in Nautica for the whole time during you're playing this level except the very beginning for not more than 5 seconds. the craft will slightly gain energy and jump over the ocean once it touches the water unless you hold your left mouse button to make the craft dive into water.

i had this at first and i finally gave into the fear and just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ watched the screen but my god the atmosphere on that level while in the water during that massive storm was anxiety inducing but that also just goes to show how amazing the game is. we know there are no threats or creatures or anything, yet it still induces anxiety and fear its an amazing experience.

I don't have Thalassophobia, but even that level has got me a little anxious. I think it's due to the fact that it's an ocean planet, and we don't know how deep it goes.

It's definitely a combination of environment and multiple other factors. I personally don't have a fear of deep water but the atmosphere of the storm combined with the incredibly stunted visibility while underwater managed to instill just enough of a doubt in how the level was designed that I got a touch anxious.

...Admittedly, the screen shaking combined with being put deep underwater and some of the auditory feedback doesn't do you any favors in terms of clarifying whether or not there's something down there with you, but I can confirm you're entirely alone in that level, no surprises lurking beneath the waves!

I have anxiety of deep water, so literally the first thing I did was dive all the way to the bottom. I wanted to see if the craft would die or sink forever.

There IS a bottom. I wanted to reach the top of that wierd mountain in the first part though and couldn't.

Takes a while to get out of the water sometimes, and it's so dark, so yeah, but it's great for getting incredible speeds and jumps with, just floor mouse one, hit gravity before you hit the ocean floor and get that sweet sweet high jump, I was looking at space most of the time!

I wasn't able to get those heights though.

Yea, if the game was any more photo-realistic Id die on that level lol

Was so afraid I'd see just, like, one huge eye in the distance

Yeah. I also have a deep water phobia and this level almost made me quit. It didn't help that visibility under water was basically zero. I got disoriented several times and actually had a slight panic attack at one point trying to re-align myself with the transport monolith on the horizon.
You may decrease this feeling by controlling the craft to make it above the water almost for the whole time during you play this level.
