Where Can I Buy a Pickaxe??

My pickaxes have broken, and I can't spot where to buy a new one. What am I missing?

EDIT: I'm most of the way through the game, have unlocked all of the map, and don't see a place to buy one

tool shop is in the mining town on the bottom right, the symbol is a bad & crate.

The Tool Shop in the first area? That's the only place I see a bag & crate as the symbol:

There is another tool shop in the Grey Kingdom, top right corner of the map, where the silver mines are. You can get a pick ax there.

Yeah, the tool shop is one of a few shops that move map locations into a newer bigger version once you find the second shop and click on it.

At last... THANK YOU both! I was missing it because I was just looking at the shops that pop up on the map... That one doesn't, it's just the "foot" to travel to the location that shows.

EDIT: No, it does show up! What the heck! How could I have kept missing that over and over again *shakes head in disbelief*

Genkicoll, when you move from one map to the next, you will only see the shops of the previous map if you have entered them first.
For example, if you don't click on the wood seller in the first map, you won't have opened it for it to be seen once you are on the second map.
