Good Pizza, Great Pizza

Good Pizza, Great Pizza

new achievements!?!?!? again?!?!?
the 200 went to 170 and then now suddenly its back to 47 or something achievements and none of them are unlocking retroactively? I've completed all chapters but didn't get any of the achievements for them, and I should also have other gameplay achievements awarded like "play for one hour" but they are not being given and I can find nothing about these changes online so this must have just happened.

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the recent changes to the achievements system. Hopefully this clears up some misunderstandings and confusions!

As part of our latest update on January 6, 2025, the number of achievements was significantly reduced to 40. This change was made based on community feedback to better align the achievements with the casual and cozy nature of the game. The streamlined list focuses on core gameplay milestones, such as completing chapters and reaching specific gameplay goals.

We regret that the new achievements do not unlock retroactively in some cases at the moment, even if you’ve already met the criteria in prior gameplay. This is due to the system changes required to implement the adjusted achievement list. To unlock these achievements, your game needs the latest game version (5.21.0) coming this afternoon.

For achievements like "play for one hour" or others tied to cumulative gameplay stats, these should sync correctly upon continuing gameplay with the new version.

Please give this update note a read for more details on the latest changes: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/770810/view/535464414104519731?l=english

Thank you for playing, and we hope you’ll continue to enjoy the GPGP journey!

They added a bunch of achievements. Removed some due to backlash. Removed the rest due to backlash--reverting to the original achievements. But when they did the last step, they broke everything and people's achievements that they've already achieved were lost.

Thank you for loving our game and for showing us grace and understanding in our attempts to improve the Steam achievements! We hope to bring you more exciting update in the future :D
Hello,
I LOVED the 200 achievements! Please bring them back! I wanted to earn lots of achievements!! You reduced the game by reducing achievements, and now they don't even unlock anymore
A huge thank you to the developers for removing all the garbage achievements and not turning the game into a grindу piece of rotted pizza
Aligning the achievements with the in game achievements made sense. The only achievements most people complained about was the ad achievements which didn't make sense as steam doesn't get ads like the mobile version. I thought the previous update was perfect and gave me set goals to continue playing the game. I am at a point where I am about to give up on the game completely as the back and forth and give and take is rather annoying, and I am a completionist play-style that cant complete this game when you keep trying to appease a small number of players and changing the game around.

No, people were complaining about the ridiculous achievements that would've required several thousand hours of gameplay. Removing them was the right thing to do as they should've never been added in the first place.

I'm glad the 200 is gone, it felt excessive.

then simply dont get those achievements and stop playing the game when you are done playing the game? The game is meant to be logged into daily and played. Removing all of the achievements like that and making them all story based and very basic achievements presents no challenge and no reason to continue playing for new events/content. Some people like the challenge. Going from over 200 to 40 is excessive in the opposite direction

Logging in daily is fine for a mobile game, not for a PC game. You still have the in-game achievements for challenges. There's no point having them correspond one-to-one to Steam achievements. This would just turn achievement hunting for completionists into a tedious and boring grind.

I had 100% in this game, and now I have like 50%... seriously?

I finished this game 2 times, because of broken acheivements, and then when I had 100% I LOST THEM? it is so unfair...

I don't think you could've had 100% when they recently added the 10000 day achievement (among other unreasonable new ones). Be grateful they removed that.
