New Achievements Popping Up

TLDR: Uninstall and reinstall the game

I rage quit after they added 200+ crap achievements, so I uninstalled the game.
Yesterday I got a few notifications from this discussion saying the achievements have been "fixed and adjusted". I downloaded and reinstalled the game. 100+ achievements popped up once I opened the game.
So please try to verify your game files, or uninstall + reinstall the game. At least this is how I got the new achievements popped, no harm to try.
I sincerely wish everyone could get the new achievements. These worthless achievements are occupying my Rarest Achievement Showcase, and I'm very not proud of it. Steam stat shows that only 0.01%-0.1% of players have these. Please make them disappear from my showcase. Thanks in advance.


As for the "adjusted" achievements, here's my thought.
Whoever makes "log in to the game 350 days" as an achievement needs to get their brain checked.
This is ridiculously out of touch even for a mobile game, none the less for a singleplayer PC game. This is not something requires skills or fun to grind, it's simply the dev want some good player stats in their backend so they make people to log in as much as possible.
This game has 5 chapters and most people can finish it in 100 days (I completed the story in 50-100 days irl, according to my Steam stat). Expecting people to log in for more than 150 days is a joke, not to mention 350 days.
My achievement status is currently sitting at 165/176 (93%). For the sake of 100% it I will (hopefully) log in for another 300 days, but I definitely will not play their new game.
I love coffee, see my avatar, but there is no way I will play another game from the same dev just to get myself frustrated for the 2nd time. This dev should focus on making mobile game. PC (+ Nintendo Switch) games are not what they are good at.


Lastly is my question. (I think) I have 6 cat decorations, but Meow Meow Meow 2 (activate 5 cat decorations) doesn't pop up. I have:

1. Sherbat Cat (MyPad case)
   
2. Lucky Cat (counter item)
   
3. Cat Clock (wall area right top)
   
4. Cat Sign (window area open sign)
   
5. Kitty Garbage Can (kitchen trash can)
   
6. Paw Print Cutting Table (kitchen table)

Anyone having an issue with this? (Please don't tell me this is indeed another bug. I will be real mad)

I completely agree with you. Logging into the game for 200, 300, 400 days or more is complete nonsense. No one except achievement hunters will do this. Many will not be able to complete these "achievements" because they do not always have time to play. Thanks to the developers for the new achievements, it's a pity that some of them are absolute garbage

Can you read? I was frustrated because the dev added some garbage nonsense to force engagement. I wasn't upset about notifications popping up. Instead I was suggesting others how to get those notifications to pop.

Call me soy snowflake or whatever you like. As if I will lose a million dollars because of this. Well good day to you.

But seriously though, I have verified the game files and nothing happened, and before the update they adjusted the new achievments, I got only like 7 random ones and now I have less than before as they removed some faulty ones. I guess it's my turn to get bugged.

Yay, now it worked out fine finally. Just that "10 days without buddies" reamaining for me, hope that removing some ingredients from the kitchen helps.
A bummer that they had to remove the shrimp one, I for some reason liked that art, the contrast with the blue background, well that's how it goes.

Finally 100% the game. I honestly didn't think this would happen when "toppings for days" haven been broken for a year.

I disabled all my buddies just to get that achievements. ALL sauce, cheese and ingredients buddies. I really wanna shove a plain dough in the customer's face when they requested for a vegetarian.

I think some sort of grinding can be acceptable and fun, but most of those in the previous 200+ achievements were ridiculous. Most people, myself included, were upset because they were unachievable. Those feel like working on a 2nd job after getting home instead of playing a cozy game.

Got it, part of the 100% group finally, lets see if it remains like this.
It was kinda tough, the income decreases drastically, especially playing with a laptop touchpad, at least it's not a timed event.
However, during it i kinda felt like the money I earned was more rewarding in some way, at least that as a positive experience.
