Free Mode?

I'm one of those people that need to get every upgrade, but that's not possible at the rate I'm making money and continuing the story line. Is there a free mode yet? Or a way to make cash without killing yourself?

Currently I've been at the end of chapter 2, on the 75th day now just grinding the days away to do the same thing with upgrades in. Nothing seems to be forcing me to buy the new ingredients or to move on to chapter 3. So I have been just unlocking "buddies" and things like the Upgraded Oven. That is about as free as it gets if that is what your asking. Either way...I completely hear your pain. lol. It is a very slow painful process it seems no matter how good you do.

Thanks Jon! Lack of other answers made me think there was nothing I could do, and I'd resigned myself to just leaving it installed and maybe coming back to it in the distant future. If I can grind away without progressing at my own discretion, I'm happy. I just wanna nicely make happy little pizzas, not speed-run a pepperoni.
