Ran out of ingredients and can't complete pizza? [Chapter 4 spoilers]

I just unlocked the garden and the ingredients (garlic) requires hours to grow.

Issue? I ran out of garlic when I do my orders, and orders after that still require garlic, and I can't turn them down. It's either "okay" or "what?"

Am I forced to be penalized for running out of ingredients (submit a wrong pizza) or is there a way I can turn down, just that I didn't figure it out?

Unfortunately you can't. But I remember that if you run completely out of an ingredient and start a new day the costumers don't ask for it anymore, or at least they don't complain in other pizzas like in vegetarian, but I could be wrong as you seem to have played more than 1 day completely out of it.
