The game has been approved on iOS since before Friday, and was supposed to be available for pre-order on Friday, and available to download this morning. Everything looks great on the Apple system that we can see, but the game is stuck in some kind of black hole on Apple's servers, and they are investigating. We have been in contact with Apple about it since Monday and there's nothing we can do but wait for them to fix it.

Sorry for the delay but it's out of our hands, unfortunately.

It's there!
oh whoa there a sec.....$13.99AUD o_O.
I don't so much mind paying premium prices for iOS games but thats even dearer than the Steam version, and thats even with a 10% launch discount.
And no idea on the App Store page as to what the expansion cost will be. Why can't a dev put the price in the description for iap's like they used to??

Bloody Apple :steamsad: Looks like it's baked beans for dinner this week.

Actually thinking more about this.....
I think the game will be a hard sell at this price on the App Store. So many good games that are released as fully paid games fail on mobile platforms due to poor sales. There is a real "it must be dirt cheap or free for me to get a mobile game" mentality out there. I don't share that way of thinking but it is a fact none the less.

My concern now is if sales are not so hot for the iPad version, should I risk the purchase of the game from the App Store and quite possibly miss out on future dlc's and patches available for the Steam version due to the mobile port being possibly abandoned?
Can you reassure me Mr dev that that will not be the case...please.

edit:
Arh, frig it all....bought. :P

We will definitely not be abandoning the mobile version! All content will be making its way to iOS and Android as well as Steam.

Thank you for the reassurance.
Game is absolutely friggin awesome on the big iPad Pro. The graphics, the UI, the audio, the whole presentation is 100%.
Looks like another late night.....but this time with a smile on my face. :steamhappy:

How does one purchase the dlc for the iOS version?

@Stubbie - The exchange rates on different stores are specified by the stores, so that's just part of life on Steam/iTunes/Google/etc when selling around the world. The price for expansions cannot be put into the description because that would not show the correct price in different countries.

We are not worried about poor sales on mobile in the least! And glad you're enjoying the game =)

@Stubbie - The Phoenix's Den is at the end of the list of Dungeons on the new game screen - swipe over to it and tap on it to bring up the info & buy button.

Oh bummer, I must have missed it. I blame the tutorial because it told me to just consider the Dragons Cave dungeon...being a newb and all ;)

So I guess that option will become available when I either restart a new game or die a miserable death in my current one, seeing as the game only has the one save? No problem then.

Oh and I understand your reasoning about the expansions price not showing, although I wonder how a whole lot of other developers manage to show prices on the App Sore pages of their iaps? Just thinking out loud, thats all.

The IAPs are supposed to be shown automatically on the App Store page (like on our other game Sentinels of the Multiverse) but they are not showing up yet. Just one more thing not working right I guess!

Oh it looks like there's an extra review step for that. So it should be visible on the App Store page soon. Thanks!

If I helped in some way to bring to your attention things that you meant should have been there originally then thats great.
Your feedback in this thread is very appreciated by me. Hopefully it will also help others who are interested in the iOS version.
