Runestones
I've got a bunch of Runestones in my Inventory, I'm very tempted to sell them as they sell for over 1000 gold each at least. They all increase damage resistence or something similar. Are those effects permenant or are they for the length of a battle or something?

Permanent as far as I can tell. I etch the higher quality ones mysefl and save the rest (you can save them as sort of a bankable currency if you think about it).
