AI Builds for 1.6 Campaign for Hard and Very Hard Solo Play
Hi Guys playing a lot of solo right now and need some builds for AI bot team mate for 1.6 campaign. I always have a medic because I suck at being a medic (Well most class but medic especially).

Currently I have success with 1 Medic and 1 Terminator AI with 1 slot for training. Training 2 more terminator 1 as back up and another so I can do double terminator. I'm not exactly sure about some game skill mechanics so I am not sure this is optimized so some inputs will help.

Terminator AI Build (Minigun & Cerberus)
1) Default
2) Quantum Singularity >>> (Not Sure if this Preventing other skills to be used with charges)
3) Protected Energized Charges
4) Nanite Swarm
5) Protected Energized Charges
6) Protected Energized Charges
7) Energized Bullets >>> (Not Sure if this Preventing other skills to be used with charges. Should I replace it with High Profile instead as marines are deadly)

Medic AI Build (Breach Shotgun & Automatic Shotgun)
1) Default
2) Heal Drone
3) Cleanse Debuff
4) Heal Gun
5) Revive Module >>> (Not Sure if this helps never see it revive me or other AI)
6) Tissue Scanner
7) Over Charge

My Ideal Assault Build (Light Machine Gun & Cerberus)
1) Default
2) Shredder
3) Grenade
4) Ammonite >>> (Is this working as I loot a lot so not sure if it is helping)
5) Energy Blade
6) Light Weapons
7) Critical >>> (Should I replace it with High Profile instead as marines are deadly)


Any one has better optimized build? I usually just run Assault or Terminator to provide armor strip with Assault skills or rocket launchers. Could use advice on other effective AI builds in Hard to Very Hard Difficulty.

give high profile a shot, saved me a lot of times. If you don't see a difference ... well back to crit then.

MS-AJAX seems to work at times incredible well on bots, without killing the whole Squad (like with a bad rocket from a.i). Thought I had to add this, cause it's so much fun. Stinger is terrible on bots tho. So if you can make room on a build for it and don't want to run rockets all the time on yourself, this is it.

LoL I have killed myself so many times with bots with grenade launcher, rockets, and missile swarm (Forgot we were indoors) that they were relegated to shotguns and flame throwers. :steamhappy:

I know how it feels yeah xd Handle with care I guess, even then sometimes a complete random rocket (tho it's on open field with clear vision) completely destroys the squad.

And Hellfire Bot doesn't seem to use his skills at all (that's a shame, he would be awesome)

So my build before hellfire released was a termi with both armor skills or passives with high profile

A medic because you pretty much need it if you want to actually survive. It also synergizes really well with the termi tank.

For the third one I actually went with a heavy mainly for the passive HSLF it is a very powerful passive for a bot to give in addition to more kinectic resistance the min move speed cap of 3.25 is very very powerful along with the overwatch retargeting .

Revive for AI medic is a manual command. It's in circular menu. You drop it near dead teammate.

That is Executor/Squad Commander revive, and from what I've heard it only hits your AI and takes 60 seconds to revive, the AI revive module is an entirely different thing, given it should take 20 seconds.
Seeing how you need to level your bots for 240 hours to get them leveld, i stick with skirimish/multiplayer only

Wrong, medic bot doesn't need that skill, you get that bot command menu and the revive option as long as there is any bot in your team as host, you dont' even need a medic bot on the team.
i generaly would not recomend terminator bots , they look amazing but they constantly hit you and allies with skills , with relese of fire guy i did some training and 90% of all damage i took and my buddies were from..constant friendly fire of terminator bots

i had run with 2 and fire guy and they almost killed fire guy at some point (and that is with extra armor) , their skills are not even that good as you can easily subsidize energy damage giving viking to bots (as they got close to infinite energy) , atleast till you get AJAX

Hmm I did notice that I get hit by terminators skills all the time. But I usually welcome it as that usually happens when I am surrounded. For some reason my Hellfire keeps dying when I Use it as a Tank (Guardian and the charge gets them stuck in bad situations) and Arclight on him is an ammo hog.

problem is some classes have lower energy resist (fire guy seams to especialy) and if you got 2 , they got him to 35% health quite quickly in medium sized fight with aliens doing close to no damage and their skills deal laughable damage to aliens anyway

my current dream team is medic , scout and fire guy and while fire guy does FF damage its low and you can walk away

scout is great for supplies , sometimes lets you have extra traps or rare stuff who on its own might not seam like much , but helps progress and having extra supplies is great as you dont need to scavange as much

but you can easily replace scout with demo so biomass is autodestroyed , or sniper for extra firepower

terminator bots despite having some neat abilities , in grand scheme of things their skills deal like 1k? 2k? damage at most who on anything beyond normal is laughable
