Enemies are very aware of where you are at all times, so sneaking is pretty much impossible. The game has quite a lot to offer since there are several campaigns, classes and weapons, by now even vehicles if you have the DLC for it.
You can experiment for hours with the classes alone to find interesting combinations of active and passive skills, so it definitely has more to offer. For most people this game is actually even too complex.
On the easier difficulties you can run around with autoaim on and win with ease, but later on you definitely need to put some thought into the weapons and skills you bring.
By now I have a few hundred hours in this game, and I haven't even touched the campaigns yet. It is still quite entertaining for me since the teams you play with and the enemy waves you face are always different. You will definitely get more than 50 hours out of it... especially if you aim to play the highest difficulty, max all your classes and want to see every enemy, medals and endings
Lastly, game balance for enemies is sometimes questionable or ridiculous. Always expect the unexpected. The gameplay also gets repetitive. In a nutshell, it's just "go here, interact with an object(s), go there, kill these and those, go over there and hold that area for 2 minutes, go there and pick up that item and plant it over that area, etc, etc".
Playtime burnout varies from person. I get bored and "burnout" after 200-300 hours or so as I've seen the whole nutshell of this game and the community. But the sheer diversity of being able to play many different classes and builds is what keeps me hooked and I believe that's where the replayability shines in this game.
Very low pop is one of the main downfalls.
If you have Helldivers already, stick with that. FOR THE FEDERATION
i wouldn't recommand the game right now maybe one day.
" Devs need money to devellop the game", but after more than 17months of release it's akward to be no where.
DLC bringed back people as long they were releasing them people lost faith in them and less people get excited when they only noticed DLC instead of true vanilla update to improve the quality life, balance, customisation, etc...
i hope we will get surprised in the future maybe ... xD
Campaign is super irritating as you cannot bring your own loadouts into the other players(host) campaign. Totally turned me off playing the campaign.
I have 90 hours in the game which i admit isnt that much but the game is 100% a completed game even with no dlc.
