- normal will be harder(lots of people want it)
- you will be able to change difficulty mid campaign
Sounds good, I really miss the difficulty level of the other Red Solstice by you guys I was a fan of. This definitely feels MUCH MUCH MUCH easier, but sadly a lot of my AI squadmates are idiots so figured this was to counteract it.
Is there a way to tell them to use their abilities with alt? I've only noticed hovering over the enemy and selecting the gun, but other than that nothing. (or using seismic skill my AI had but unable to do it)
I think it should stay as is for the new and/or casual players.
Now the higher difficulties..... they are too easy. I've already done several 8 man runs on nightmare.... with randoms and no mics.... and won. As a TRS1 vet I'm offended that i was able to do that.
I was having an easy time, missions were a cakewalk. Then global infestation jumped from 20 to 60 and I can't complete a single mission anymore. Trying to kite clumps of 5 behemoths, swarms of moths...just not enough ammo and explosives to kill it all. So I'm losing colonies constantly and can't even reach the next mission as of yet.
Figure I missed something important somewhere, trying to figure it out before restarting.
I'm playing on Hard from get go and I already start to regret it, its THAT hard.
Bots start to run out of ammo for me.
I toned it down to easy and still having fun, I just like killing stuff.
The normal campaign after the big difficulty spike feels like Very Hard/Nightmare Skirmish mode at times - even harder - In fact, I am going to play do Skirmishes for a bit :)
