Not enough points to join party???
Hey guys. I’m confused. I just let two of my four animals leaving the party and tamed a scorpion. Now I can’t add him to the party because I need 45 points and have only 38?
What is all this about? I thought you can have multiple animals. Can I get more points for animals somehow?

Each individual animal has a loyalty score now. If you just tamed the scorpion, it sort of doesn't trust you enough to follow you or let you ride it. Pet it, and let it chill for a bit. They slowly gain loyalty over time. Once it reaches 45 (if that's the number shown) it can join your group.

All my animals are fully bonded. But I still have a limit on points. These partypoints or whatever that is. So I can just have a scorpion, a hornet and a mantis in my party on the travels. I can’t take my lizard with me then. Is there a way to get more partypoints that I can take more with me?

You get 100 party points. Each tame costs so many points to be in your party, and you can't add tames that would bring you over the 100-point limit even if you don't have four tames in your party. It's specifically so you can't run around with 4 scorpions or tarantulas which are very strong. There's no way to increase the limit.

Bond from petting and feeding don't affect their ability to join your party. As long as they have 1 bond remaining they're as good as if they were full on bond, but they disappear at 0 so don't let your tames go down too much (which drops bond the most).

Thank you very much for explaining 🙏🏻☺️

Oh yeah, one more clarification: You can tame/hatch as many creatures as you want. They'll fight for you without having to be in your party, but otherwise stay in place. They make good guards for doing egg raids in a tree, or hatching several eggs next to bosses for the extra support.

I don't suppose you happen to know if your tames party point cost increases as they level up do you?
My partner has ran with 4 tames for a while (jumper, hornet, sawyer & stag beetle) but recently temporarily swapped one out to move some base guards around and now can't add one back in as he doesn't have enough points. I'm guessing this is the case ^^;
