Mods?
Any plans for them to open up modding? would be cool to see new weapons and armor designs.

The devs have stated repeatedly that they're focusing on the base game at this time.

To properly implement modding in a way that doesn't break every time the game updates would require the devs to stop and create some kind of modding devkit. That would divert time, money, and energy from the rest of the roadmap.

Wait for then to fix the bugs first, and proceed with the game plan. The game is in a stage that pass a feeling of Beta, thats a lot bugs, some old bugs for a long time, some weird system like the faction event and points???? and so on.
I agree with some people when they said that the game should not be taged as "Released".
Come on... thats a lot simple/old bugs here and old system that are to bothersome THE PETS SPAWNING IN BED are one of then.
I said one time and i will say again, the game is awesome, but the feeling is just like they dont care enough. They never answear, never say nothing, the only time you see a mesage from then is on steam, when a update comes. You never know what they planing, because even the RoadMap is old and not accurate, even items from the BETA was not released it (AKA pet bed).
They dont answear about bugs, you dont know what bugs they are working on, IF they are working on, and EVEN if they know what bugs are in the game... because they SAY NOTHING.
Now tell me, its too hard to communicate? "Oh but its a indie team|" yeah? and? thats a lot Indies team, most with just one people who also say things? like? bug? community interaction? annoucement etc. The game is not important enough, and will never changes.
The sad part is that the game is awesome in concepet, thats TOO MUCH potentil to work on it and fix some part of the game. But im not waiting for it.
it would be better if the game was made by other company to be honest... Its not a free hate, just the reality, thats a lot indie industries who really enjoy work in the game.
For me they just look tired or "wahteaver" for the game, as a hobby.

So tell me,
How do you expect to be a Mod branch? impossible...

Rrrrrrrrrright.

That's not how it happens. If mods are not possible in this game, it is the will of the team.
Games that have been coded by two people with low budget, and also have been huge success, like Mount&Blade, had mods all a long their development stages.

Modders adapt, they change their assets and structures, and when they don't, people stop to use them.

Even more than that : they fix bugs and and create new features that are often included later in the game. That's a healthy and efficient way to develop, especially when one has no time, money or resource to do it like a AAA game dev team. (and who does..?)
