The only reason to bring a pet up the tower is if you're riding it. I've taken scorpions into the tower, and they wreck enemies. Like ark survival evolved, when you are riding a tamed animal your character really isn't there anymore. You are the creature. It took all the damage for me. Riding a scorpion was like getting into a mech suit, or the power loader from aliens.
(I just picked it up, but for some reason I thought this was on decent sized public servers, but when I started it seemed the only people playing online were in private groups)
played single player, heard lots of bad things about public, from griefers to items going missing an stuff there's only like 100-400 people playing the game at any given time on steam according to steam player count it's not very popular, i mean i can see why terrible raid system, pets kill each other, pets damage your base more in base defence than the enemy, unbalance combat, touch too grindy
Ahh sheesh. I just had always had my eye on it, and then impulse purchased it when I saw a "deal of the day"-thing, so I guess I missed all that.
I was kinda in the mood for random online high jinks, but good to know I don't need a group of established friends to enjoy it at least.
hope ya enjoy it more than i did :) the world looks beautiful, it has some really nice features like building, map design an such, but there's a lot wrong with it :) hope they fix that stuff soon so i can change my negative review into a positive one would be interesting to see a part 2 with a more upto date graphical upgrade and bet designed mechanics :)
It's not a bad game overall. Def worth the money to play through it. There is some grind to it but I had skipped making most things cause I didn't feel like grinding forever. Just got what I thought was important and motored through. That being said the only real road block is when Winter hits. No warnings no nothing that I had seen. That was brutal to suffer through. I basically couldn't go anywhere and just farmed resources around the bottom of the trees then until it was over.
