I can't cross the river because of a bug

Hello, I have a problem crossing the river. I talked to Malik, gave him the 10 stink bug glands, he made me drink the potion, and yet when I try to cross the river, the hawk keeps killing me.

same. this game really wasn't ready for it's 1.0 release, and it shows.

Worked when I did the quest. Where were you trying to cross the river? Some parts of the river the hawk will still nab you because you'd be leaving the playable map.

I'm trying to cross at the level of the door you have to take when you haven't drunk the potion

Same here.
Its an online server with 2 players.
We both deliver 10 stinks each and drink the potion. We both cant cross the river.
Restarting the server/game didnt work also.
We also dont have the option to deliver again the Stinks... so...
Probably last patch issue...

Same issue here and tried to float, fly and catapult over and hawk gets me everytime and the quest is gonzo so I completed it.

I just build a new base on edge of the desert biome - I should have build it next to the river crossing. Place a few strategic beds, get killed by hawk and get a free fast travel.

i can cross riding the blue tilt.
anyway, as well as when you die by the hawk you can keep your inventory, it is not a great problem, i used it as a fast travel for so long.
