Warning: Copyrighted audio detected

While Streaming Smalland on Twitch I was notified of copyrighted audio being detected.
The only Audio I have enabled is In-Game Music and Effects.

Here are the Audio files that Twitch flagged
Blutdienst 2
Varg
(Combat Audio)

Seeking Shelter from the Wild Wind
Nature Sounds
(Storm Audio)

Wondering if any other Streamers have had this issue?
Twitch wont allow me to publish the stream.

Now Twitch is striking my stream for Environmental sounds.

Copyrighted audio detected:
Wind and Rain
Silent Knights
(Environmental Audio)

I have to turn ALL sound off just to stream?
Merge Games, please contact Twitch and tell them we can use your In-game Audio and Music when we stream your game.

One thing is music, but if this is really all down to environment sounds then that's messed up and ridiculous. That said, plenty have streamed it the last days so that's really weird, I hope it can be solved, keep us posted!

Thanks. It is weird. There are 20+ Streamers on Twitch right now playing Smalland with Sound and Music.
I dont know why Twitch is striking me.
Maybe because I'm just a nobody with only 6 followers.

I sent Twitch CS a ticket so hopefully it will get resolved.

Thanks. It is weird. There are 20+ Streamers on Twitch right now playing Smalland with Sound and Music.

I sent Twitch CS a ticket so hopefully it will get resolved.

im no expert but i think the strikes only apply to vods right? so the vods cant be saved or whatever

Those are probably sound effects being used under license. I highly doubt merge games made every single asset in this game, that's not done anymore.

The sounds/music are owned and copyrighted by whoever made thm. Doesn't mean they're being used illegally. Sounds like an issue on twitch's end.

Correct. I can publish them, but they have a bunch of audio cut-outs throughout the video.

Well it seems Twitch finally got its act together and decided that In-game Sound and Music was allowed.

Hey! all the music was made by our inhouse composer.

I tried listening to Vard-Blutdienst II which is german death metal and not at all like our combat music,

And the environmental music looks like a false-positive because - I'd imagine all storm audio kinda sounds similar with it's lightning bolts and wind.

We haven't heard of any other copyright issues on youtube or twitch so we believe this may all be the copyright twitch bots being oversensitive.

The Audio strikes were removed once I appealed.
Hopefully it wont happen again. Such a PITA

I've watched vods of the game and nothing has been muted. Sections get muted if copyright. Someone I watch regularly gets sections muted due to the music they play.

Maybe someone is manually putting in claims against OP as some vendetta or something.
