Does this underground cave the Geologist is mentioning exist?

Can't seem to find it. Found some shortcut doors and a small cave with a bunch of spiders but that's about it. Got a mouse and did everything else as far as I know.

As far as I know, no. She talks about finding crystals, and allegedly saying that there are tunnels running under ALL over the map. But then the on she was in collapsed. The only "Tunnel" that can be found is a really weird shortcut to the other side of the campsite, that takes a key.

The whole thing felt like it was only half completed. And it makes me wonder if it was just pushed out to have it. Crystals WOULD have been kind of neat. But as of now, no. IF you do all the mouse stuff, you're basically good to go.

this update felt massively unfinished. probaly a leftover development that was cancelled due to the changes for the studio. so they just released what they had and what was working and thats it. the npc is essentially fully useless and may aswell have not been added at all. same for the key and the door. they all serve no real purpose.

not sure if the game will see any further development given what happend and the state of this update.

Wait something happened to the studio and or developers? Are they no longer working on this game or something? It seems rather odd as it was released and stuff is being hotfixed still. I would be sadden if they didn't add more territories and polish the game. It's a ton of fun.

Someone posted some claim that the developer went out of business, but it came from someone with TTV in their name. I generally don't pay attention to much someone says when they label themselves like that. It's usually half informed gossip from wannabe streamers trying to stir up drama for their "channel" (all 6 people, including grandma).

I haven't even bothered to research if that was correct or not, and I have assumed it's not. I figure we would have received some kind of notice in the game forums here if that had been the case.

they didnt go out of buisness. but the studio was taken by another bigger one. stuff like this normally affects game development. not always in a positive way depending on the demands of the new overlords. while the devs have stated that they wanna continue the development of the game the empty state of this update leads people to believe otherwise. its too early to tell for certain of course. but overall this update was not a good sign in that regard given you can literally tell this is unfinished content. it feels like something added during early access. except the game is no longer in early access.

the last few updates didnt feel like this one at all. they felt complete and not missing anything. this one feels very very lackluster compared.

only time will tell in the end. take a look at the games state about 6 months from now.
