Either:
* The XBox Video Resolution is NOT set to match your TVs native resolution, or
* The TVs Aspect Ratio (also called Picture Size) is NOT set to match your XBox Video

My TV is from 2007, so it has some really strange video resolutions.
The screen area setting that most games has, does actually help in my case.
That's exactly why i'm asking if this game has it or not, but i guess nobody knows.
FWIW, this game does have Graphics Settings for:
* UI Scaling
* Resolution Scaling
With those two, you should be able to accommodate your "strange video resolutions".
I would dig into the user/tech manual for your TV to double-check it's capabilities.
IIRC, I have a late 90s TV that, even then, had settings for changing the aspect ratio.
It's a long shot, but maybe your TV has a firmware or system software update to apply...
