Silk thread

How is silk thread made? I have plenty of raw silk.

You need to unlock the Loom, which if I am remembering OK is done when you build a Tannery.

Silk thread is made from raw "silk" and "resin" using the "Loom and Spindle". To build that, you need resin, refined wood, fiber, and silk.

I think its unlocked once you get silk, but there may be other conditions, but usually for me, silk has been the last of those ingredients that I achieve. I don't remember building the tannery unlocking the loom and spindle, but that could just be thats its been a minute. I've also read other comments about building things with the gold star in order to build other things, so that might be a thing that I've just never paid attention to....but there are people wiser than I.
