Multiplayer

Just got the game have just over an hr so far learning everything but was wondering how the multiplayer is and if anyone wanted to try it with me? Games like these are always more fun with others lol

To all intents and purposes it's nonexistent ATM. There are no dedicated servers, so players have to find a player-hosted game that isn't password protected and play until the host randomly stops playing and closes the game. You are unlikely to see the same hosted game pop up again.

no my apologies i meant like adding someone as a friend on steam and playing that way lol sorry should have been more specific on that i apologize for that

As long as you can arrange times when you will both be playing you should be fine. I've seen people say they were unable to sometimes see a friend's server though. It's early days.

ahh that is true i appreciate the help , just got to be patience for now and enjoy the game solo i had a friend in my time zone (EST) say he was gonna get the game so we can stream it but he bailed on me sadly but thank you for the help

Been able to have all of my friends connect and play on my server with me just fine. However, the boss fights are insufferable. Makes them exponentially harder - we've killed them all and beat the game... but it only works for one of the players. It drops 1 pair of wings, 1 horn, etc. - and only counts for the player that picks it up and turns it in. To effectively beat the game, or get the armor sets - you need to kill the boss again for each. So with a 4 player game, we had to beat each boss... four times.

I play with my wife we have great fun - it's good perhaps some in game communication would be good and we haven't found a friend list or anything like that (I'm on Steam & she is on Epic)
