Just a few suggestion.
Please get a patch out asap so we can adjust the brightness in the game. The environment is really dark and even during the day can make it hard to see cause of the dark shadows. At at night is almost impossible to move without a torch then its not bright enough.

Plus i think the transitions from day to night seems to be really short. Maybe these small things can be added or at least give an extra 5 to 10 minutes of daylight. Cause you can sleep the night away. I went trough 2 nights in less then an hour. That's too fast. i think that 30mins day and 30mins night would be perfect.

Day & Night cycle should definitely be slower.

i have no issues with shadow or brightness.

I was about to buy when I saw this post. My monitor tends to run dark and I usually have to turn up the brightness in all games.

I've tried making adjustments in the nvidia settings but it just washes out the desktop. Means if I can't adjust the brightness in game, it's generally too dark for me to enjoy

I would add that although I have yet to purchase this game, ergo, unaware if one can adjust the antenna brightness, Any such adjustments present in the game's controls for this now? If not, I for one would highly appreciate this feature.

Watching other game play videos where that function was used, caused me to squint or completely shut my eyes; perhaps symptomatic of medications I take for glaucoma that seem to cause sensitivity to very bright lighting effects in games. I usually have to either be able to adjust for these or not play.

looks like you might be able to modify brightness...

%localappdata%\SMALLAND\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

[/script/smalland.slusersettings]
Brightness=0.500000

I didn't toy with it so I can't say what the thresholds are.

Back up your .ini file before making changes. Change at your own risk.

Hmm Yeah it def worth trying but as one said that antenna thing is the brightest feature. that would def make even brighter but if you can see the resources with that. Then it's worth it. Thank you for that information. I will def try it out.

So I tried messing with the settings it seems it really didn't do anything to the brightness in the game. I'll save some screens on the community.

This is normal. If you're out in the wilderness, it gets so dark you cannot see without a light source. Sounds perfectly fine.

There are things that only come out at night, so if you made everything longer, you'd just be waiting for night to appear so you can farm them.

I use Nvidia Freestyle and add Brightness, Color and Detail filters.
