I've tried making adjustments in the nvidia settings but it just washes out the desktop. Means if I can't adjust the brightness in game, it's generally too dark for me to enjoy
Watching other game play videos where that function was used, caused me to squint or completely shut my eyes; perhaps symptomatic of medications I take for glaucoma that seem to cause sensitivity to very bright lighting effects in games. I usually have to either be able to adjust for these or not play.
%localappdata%\SMALLAND\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
[/script/smalland.slusersettings]
Brightness=0.500000
I didn't toy with it so I can't say what the thresholds are.
Back up your .ini file before making changes. Change at your own risk.
Hmm Yeah it def worth trying but as one said that antenna thing is the brightest feature. that would def make even brighter but if you can see the resources with that. Then it's worth it. Thank you for that information. I will def try it out.
So I tried messing with the settings it seems it really didn't do anything to the brightness in the game. I'll save some screens on the community.
This is normal. If you're out in the wilderness, it gets so dark you cannot see without a light source. Sounds perfectly fine.
There are things that only come out at night, so if you made everything longer, you'd just be waiting for night to appear so you can farm them.
