Where do you get the recipe for the roasted or grilled mandibles from? It says in the item description that you can also grill them. I can even process the parts of the spiders into food.

Despite the description, I don't think they can be eaten at this time. When the game launched, I was keeping stacks of them as an emergency food source. Glad I never needed them!

Right now, they can be used to make a pick (mandibular pick) for harvesting stone, etc. And they are used in the making of some of the higher tier armors. IIRC, the bone armor requires mandibles on 2 parts of the 4 for that armor set. I think the formic set uses them too, but not 100% sure of that (I skipped making formic).

Spider parts are cooked in the stone oven, which unlocks when you get clay & clay mortar.
