Grappling Hook Things to Know

Its a death trap, there is nothing safe about it, you will die more having one or less if you go without. I can not begin to tell you this is nothing special, its cool at first but when you put yourself in certain situations you'll learn its death and death and more death, I finally realize this is not something to ever use again. Tiny little people die more using this than any other thing this game has to offer.

Wings are almost mandatory when using the grappling hook

when i first used it i was met with certain death that left my Tomb stone upon a branch of a bush that i could not reach. So i died in a repetitive manner using the grapple yet again until i managed to regain it. Swore to never use it again apart from the moments i got stuck in water. It's a life saver for those moments.. but death otherwise. Haha
Never thought to try it with wings.. might try that.

For god sake man, all you have to do is use one of the two wing armor sets and your invulnerable to fall damage from that point forward. Also everyone is currently using one of these sets, since the best armor in the game currently is one of the two wing armors.

That being said... Yeah it's not a very useful tool 99% of the time. But it's saved my butt on a few occasions when getting stuck in the world geometry. Or a pit the developer never made a route out of.

Yeah, I quickly realized it's less of a "grappling hook", and more of a super jump gun. I treated it like having double jumps iin a platformer. It will yank you towards a target, but the boost seems only temporary.

And once I had the wing armor, I stopped even carrying it. Took up two slots in inventory, and I preferred to have arrows in the ammo slot.

facepalm, For gods sake, maybe someone hasn't reach the part of wing armor and it appears to be more of a death trap. So take a chill pill and relax. Ridiculous how you approached this thread.
