Report a translation problem
It's already been reported. But random strangers who join your world can go to your base, open containers and take things, and even destroy the whole base. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.
So you could make a character just for multiplayer servers, and on that character just DON'T build any treebase. Since there are no skills or attributes to max out, you can literally just make a second set of gear and go put it in a chest in your main world (NOT your treebase), and then load into that world with your separate character. Take all the gear, and you will just as powerful as your original character.
You now have a character you can safely take to a multiplayer server, and they only thing you'd have to worry about would be getting ganked by other player if friendly fire is enabled, so they can steal your gear. But at least they can't destroy your tree base and steal your loot.
On the roadmap:
https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/smalland-survive-the-wilds-2023-roadmap
you can see that they plan on allowing more control for teams once the map has more room as well as a better PVP system. i think they are getting inspiration from how Terraria does it. though that game specifically im not sure as it is rather common now.
Looking forward to this feature
I fully understood the glich they use..
when a player joins your world without showing up or goes directly to your tree (base) this is how he tries to steal from you..
Even if your tree is private, it climbs through the mushrooms around to reach your base.
Then it sticks against the walls of your base while running to trigger a graphical bug to see through it, then they try to click on your bed or your chest through the wall to have the F option..
<<The solution is to never leave your chests near the walls, not your respawn bed..>>
This glitch bug has often been used on GTA and other games.
So my advice is to make a base in which all your chests and bed are in the center of your house so that there is no possible interaction through the walls.
It works very well that way..
I'm not going to name the names of the players who visited me and left empty-handed ;)
