In order Dexterity (Speed), Endurance (Stamina), Constitution (Health)
If I ever get points to spare they will go toward Strength (Damage)
If boosting Strength improved harvesting, that would be my first priority. It may do so, but I'm not sure at this stage.

I'm maxing damage and health. I want to dish it out and take more damage. Being able to tank damage is still how the combat essentially works.

I've been splitting the remaining pts between speed and endurance.

Speed is _attack_ speed btw.

Increasing damage does increase harvesting.

I would stay endurance is the least useful, since you can attack as soon as you have any stamina at all (the game doesn't make you wait until you have enough stamina cost for the attack). When your stamina runs out, your down to the waiting for your stamina to go from zero to above zero to attack again, and repeat.

Leveling seems to work like this:

you will get 3 points per level, so 300 at max 100 level. You can't level any stat individually past your current level. If you're level 20, then 20 is the max bonus you can raise a stat. Get to 21, now the max is 21.

So that means the points you can spend on any one stat will max at 100. You can level 2 stats to 100, and split the remaining 100 pts between the other two.

There's already been one report of being able to keep getting points past max level 100, but with +100 still being the max for each individual stat. One guy said he maxed all 4 stats to +100. Expect that to get patched, and all the bonus pts taken away, so we go back to 300 level ups, spread across 4 stats. If that happens, would not be surprised if all get a free respec.

From what I can tell it does. We had a person break Pyrite in 3 hits, put some points to Str, then was able to break them in 2 hits

It does, I saw on Discord that at around +25 points to strength it takes 2 hits for one pyrite ore/ node.

Myself for point distribution being currently at level 50, even across strength, health and endurance. Only have 10 points in dexterity, pretty crazy fast with just that.

Strength and Stamina first, then Constitution with Dexterity last.

pls provide proof that this is true and not just conjecture
you should see a noticeable attack speed increase of +50% at lvl 100 dexterity, if it also increases attack speed.

I don't feel like putting in the effort to make proof but I have characters with lvl 100 dexterity and lvl 0 and can tell you that speed is definitely movement and not attack speed.

Edit: I got less lazy.

It's attack speed too. It might be movement too, but it's definitely attack speed.

I posted video proof that it is not attack speed...

Max damage and the rest evenly on dexterity and stamina. Honestly, 100 HP is already good for pretty much the whole game. You can bandage yourself up pretty quickly with the recovery items, and in case of near death scenarios, there are potions. Not to mention you can pretty much dodge just about every attack as there are plenty of visual and audio cues you can use as guide when to press dodge.

I have speed at 100, and I can tell you, ABSOLUTELY, that it boosts attack speed.

Ive seen somewhere that intelligence is a main stat to boost as it supposed to increase chance of crafting rarer equipment. Is this true and if so, how much of a difference is it?
