I know im new in the Game. But shouldnt it be normal that equally ranked players play against each other? I just popped into my first match past tutorial and got "scratched" by a random projectile from another "enemy" player and instantly died. Did i miss something?

okay. Then i just wait and try to finish some dailys like capture the flag etc. Getting killed trough a scratch is demotevating. If its just temporarily i wait and hope^^

It is absolutely NORMAL if you don't spend money on the "latest and greatest bots weps ect "expect to be fodder for those who do. and the dev team couldn't care less laughing all the way to the bank. just dont play this game!! seriously

If you play deathmatch, it's easier to get to at least halfway through the match. If you learn the names of those who are too strong (or who use cheats), you can always get blown up 2 times, before starting, without consequences.

Also if you are in lower leagues, the projectile you're talking about might be Hurricane, a new rocket system people spam then leave. Saving up to buy a bolt or stalker is a cheap way to mitigate it slightly, especially the latter.

Also a skilled stalker pilot can be pretty annoying to even vets and the p2ws.

Or do what I do, build an MK3 Weyland with an MK3 Ancile shield and a Spike weapon to slow crawl all the way to the back just to take out those annoying Hurricane players!

Uhmm im just lvl 7. So i Dont know what you are talking about. I unlocked cossak and gepard for now. Im genuiliy new to the game.

If you see mk2 or 3 on the kill readout just leave. theyre tankers. its suuuuper hard to start this game anymore. bad matchmaking plus tankers equal miserable gaming experience. Also our games are currently mismatched due to the update offset. mobile players had an update so wel only be matched with PC till we get updated.

You just started playing this video game at the worst possible time.

War Robots is currently updating from the 9.9.9 update to 10.0.

War Robots runs on Android, iOS, Amazon, and PC platforms.

Normally, matches will be matched with players based on your league level, regardless of the platform mentioned above.

However, during the War Robots update, cross-platform functionality will be cut off and matches will only be made on each platform.

Since there are very few PC users, you will have to play against players who are playing War Robots for the first time and players who have been playing War Robots for years.

There should be a 10.0 update for War Robots by April 9, 2024.

After the update, War Robots will work cross-platform as before.

However, immediately after the update, the number of players may be small and the matching may be unfavorable for beginners, so I think it's a good idea to wait a day or so before playing.

When the game updates, they update it in parts, mobile first and then PC last, so we end up with too few player to make match making a bit fair.
After the update, the match making will go back to normal, which is about half way fair.

I came here with the same issue, but I read the comments and I hope this update will indeed fix this issue. My first ten matches were too easy and then I get constant matchmaking with tankers, dying in seconds. And if I leave the match, I lose the rewards, if any. Indeed, the worst time for us new players to start the game...
