Is 7% discount on drone upgrades a good deal?

Or should i wait for a bigger discount? Because what is the highest discount that we can get on drone upgrades?

When it cost $10 just to get 300 chips? And 300 chips will only gain you two level upgrades on your drone. So your looking at $50 to $60 or so to max out one drone.

I am not talking about money here. The discount on "Upgrades" is 7% with me atm. An upgrade that cost me 90 chips will now cost 83 chips.

Upgrades used to be better. Drone upgrades used to be 15%, now just 7%. 40% discounts were at least once per week and now barely every 15 days.

I say this but I suspect the frequency and quality of discounts varies by player and money spent.

Edit: 60 seconds after I type this, I am offered a 10% discount on drones.

That said, drone upgrades are so expensive, it might as well be a 0.001% discount.

I've been playing since last year and I have a lvl10 Armadillo drone, all my other drones are lvl4.
